Monster Design - By Sabina Piasecka

When we started working on a game my task assigned was to design monsters and characters that would attack the player while he would be moving through our map and labyrinth, however we have decided to abandon this idea for now as we decided that this will come later on in our design. I have done very quick sketches of some monsters and asked my group for a feedback and upon choosing one design I decided to do a better sketch and a concept design.




The main concept I will work on later on, along with a couple of monsters and creatures that will fit our game type and the aesthetic looks, as we have decided to create the graphics of the game based on the Mayan ruins.













However putting that aside which will be taken care for in further stages of our design, I have also began working on the smaller graphical details and our GDD as the first one to give everyone a start. For the smaller parts that I am going to designs, it will be the parts that the player is supposed to collect while wandering around our map in order to fix his ship.

Also upon consulting with my group we have decided for the controls and on how the game will work, but that will come later.
